    Must be the worst service in the chain.....could learn from Dukes Head or Arkle Manor....tables not cleared. Clean glasses filthy. Chipped side dishes......why can this pub never cope on a bank holiday ?!

    Enjoyed a lovely meal here on Saturday night with friends. We were a bit last minute booking but they made space for us and we enjoyed a drink in the bar afterwards.

    Poor experience at the George and Dragon:

    Dirty glasses
    Cold soup
    Hard / over cooked food
    Staff over run.

    Disappointing afternoon! Expensive prices, poor standard of food!

    Nice place for lunch. Not seen a pub car park so busy on a Thursday lunch time for many years! Food was good but a little pricy.
