- 2 / 5By Anne-Marie RandA family favourite of ours, we have been coming here for years. We travel for miles to reunite with family we haven't seen in months and look forward to coming to the Prince of Wales.
However today we were disappointed. Service was very slow. They had run out of the favourite pie that we had ordered. When the food finally arrived, one meal never showed up. We politely waited 5 minutes but finally went to the bar to ask where it was. On having to remind the staff that it was missing, the 5th meal eventually turned up 10 minutes after the first meals. Finally an apology came from the staff but initially they were very defensive.
The food was also not particularly warm.
Normally we love it here, and hopefully will come back, but service standards should be upheld, normally they are spot on and so friendly! Unfortunately today that was missing.October 05, 2016
